responsibilities:

Our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives. In this role, you will have the opportunity to :

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of month end close, reporting and forecasting procedures, including supporting schedules and reconciliations, according to monthly close schedule.
  • Complete certain monthly journal entries (primarily cost accruals), maintain balance sheet account reconciliations, process scrap requests, support SOX and ASC840 (Lease Accounting) testing.
  • Ensure management reports are produced and analyzed in order to accurately assess the profitability of the LBS's Americas business activities.
  • Prepare cost center reports and engage with cost center owners to drive awareness and identify root causes for deviations to budgets and forecast. Assist with financial and other audits.
  • Complete certain other ad-hoc projects as required by the business. Leverage existing SAP & other reporting systems to further improve and automate reporting processes.
 
qualifications:

The essential requirements of the job include :

  • Bachelor's degree in finance and / or accounting
  • 3+ years' relevant experience in a finance and / or accounting role
  • Advanced Excel skills Familiarity with SAP (or other ERP) and financial reporting tools
