Staff Accountant

Currently working with a very successful private equity company that is currently seeking a Staff Accountant. This Staff Accountant will work on a variety of management entity accounting including AP, Expense Reporting, GL, Payroll and various other tasks. Needs to be someone articulate and with good fundamental accounting knowledge such as AP, basic GL and Excel. Qualified candidates will have 2-3+ years of experience. Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will report to the Controller and will be responsible for the following:

- Process expense reports, payable and reimbursable expenses

- Prepare / assist with full cycle accounts payable function

- Assist with month-end closing duties

- Prepare bank account reconciliations

- Prepare wire transfers

- Prepare monthly invoicing to portfolio companies

- Assist with payroll out of pocket reimbursements

- Provide support on special projects as assigned



- Minimum 2-3+ years of general accounting experience

- Experience with private equity or partnership accounting required

- Strong written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills

- Strong analytical skills

- Experience with NetSuite, Concur, Excel and QuickBooks preferred

- Ability to multitask, prioritize and work in a fast paced results driven environment

- High standards of quality and personal integrity

- This is a work in the office position.
