job summary:

Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst will support multiple departments across the business in all financial matters relating to the forecast and planning process. The person for this role possesses an interest in corporate FP&A and has strong analytical/interpersonal skills. This position reports directly to the Senior Financial Analyst.

      responsibilities:

      Responsibilities

      • Facilitate the monthly forecasting process including reconciling transactions and providing variance analytics
      • Maintain Adaptive Insights corporate forecast to improve operational efficiency and ensure data integrity
      • Develop a wide range of presentations for executive management
      • Assist with recommending actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials.
      • Create supplemental reporting packages for research analyst and investor use.
      • Prepare quarterly lender reporting packages to ensure debt covenants are in compliance
      • Continuously improve the processes and infrastructure needed to successfully report financial results
      • Performs ad hoc projects to improve process efficiency and performance projects as assigned by Management
       
      qualifications:

      Requirements

      • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or Business Analytics
      • Strong financial modeling and analytical abilities
      • Excellent computer skills, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint
      • Adaptive Insight knowledge a plus
      • Ability to flex and adapt work schedule to changing business demands
      • Possess at least basic finance and accounting knowledge required to work with the accounting department so that forecasting tools provide both cash-based and GAAP-based projections.
      • Strong attention to detail including the ability to handle competing priorities as well as meet all deadlines and commitments
      • Ability to quickly learn new concepts, solve problems, and implement solutions
