CT based, HYBRID (2-3 days onsite) Supply Chain Manager opportunity, paying up to $110k!! This client is a privately owned, global distribution company with excellent employee benefits. The Supply Chain Manager is a core member of the logistics team responsible for tracking shipments, quotations, procurement and operational service delivery. You will also be part of a team responsible for managing contract terms with vendors and administration issue resolution. the Supply Chain Manager is a part of the global logistics organization working together to provide global support to the business.

responsibilities:
- Provide operational and customer service support
- Ensure timely service response to internal and external inquiries
- Responsible for establishing and obtaining shipping rates from suppliers, service status updates, and managing customer specific solutions
- Manage all aspects related to operational execution and service delivery and manage/coordinate with suppliers as required
- Manage all relevant documentation requirements
- Optimize profitability on existing and new contracts
- Flag any logistics issues for management
- Comply with all federal, state and local legal requirements
qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- Strong understanding of international and domestic supply chain
- Strong understanding of international/domestic documentation processes (BOL, CO, etc)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience with ocean freight contracts
- Freight Forwarding (import and/or export)
