job summary:

We are seeking a Tax Accountant to join a growing CPA firm in Ft. Lauderdale. This will be a full-time position, in office, working with our corporate clients.

In this role you will work with a blend of corporate and personal tax with the majority of the year focusing on corporate taxes for private companies within Florida. During tax season you will assist with an increased volume of personal returns.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience and have a desire to grow within the company. The comprehensive benefit plan includes 15 days PTO, 7 paid holidays, medical, dental, vision and more.

responsibilities:
  • Interacting with clients, staff and management to review tax documents
  • Prepare financial statements
  • Preparation of both personal and business tax returns
  • Preparation and review of payroll and sales tax returns
  • Preparation and review of client write ups
  • Review monthly sales and use tax returns, and approves for filing and payment
 
qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Quickbooks proficiency
  • 3-5 years tax experience required
  • CPA license preferred
