job summary:

Tatum is recruiting for an experienced Tax Accounting Manager for an established Public Accounting Firm that has been in business for over 40 years. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing multistate personal and business tax returns and managing/mentoring Junior/Senior level staff accountants.

  • Prepare and review accounting work papers as well as multi-state tax returns for corporations, partnerships, LLC's, individuals, trusts, and estates
  • Compilation of financial statements
  • Tax research
  • Knowledge of payroll, business, and sales tax reporting and compliance
  • Perform account reconciliations, and prepare financial reports
  • Manage and mentor Jr. and Sr. level Staff Accountants
  • 5+ years in Public Accounting with emphasis on Tax required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related required; Masters in Accounting or Tax preferred
  • CPA preferred
  • Must be able to work onsite

Compensation is up to $150K based on experience.
