job description

job summary:

Tax Director - $150,000 to $180,000 plus bonus

Unique opportunity to join a growing privately held global company based in the suburbs of Lancaster County as their Tax Director. This is not your ordinary Tax Director role and is not your ordinary company.

For a strong / qualified candidate, our client is open to a hybrid work schedule that would allow "remote work" / "work from home" scenarios.

This position is a newly created position as our client looks to bring all tax functions "in house". This position will oversee all aspects of Tax and will look to build a team. This position will report to the Global Controller.

Job responsibilities will include--

Manage and coordinate all federal/state/local tax correspondence and audits

Coordinate with external advisors on the preparation and review of all federal, international, state and local income tax returns and filings

Lead the company in the development of tax strategies for domestic and international operations

Assist in due diligence and advise on tax implications of acquisitions and other corporate transactions

Our client seeks a candidate with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business and a minimum of ten years of total experience. Our client has a very strong preference to a candidate who has worked both in a National / International Public Accounting Firm's Tax Department and has worked in a Corporate Tax Department within an international company.

CPA is required. Masters in Taxation is preferred.
