Tatum is currently assisting a growing CPA firm located in Summerlin with a Tax Manager search. This is a hybrid position offering a flexable from home or in the office work schedule. They are offering up to $130K + overtime pay, 100% paid benefits, a 3% matching 401K, huge advancement opportunity, and pay for continuing education and CPA license renewals. Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of public accounting tax experience.

responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Manage client relationships supplying high quality tax service and advice
- Detailed tax return review
- Tax law compliance
- Minimizing/reducing tax liability
- Training/educating staff
- Investigation complex tax issues then utilize findings to make recommendations
- Interact with IRS on behalf of client
- Manage the workflow of multiple tax engagements
- delegate complex returns to staff
- Take part in business development opportunities
- Take part in the development of new tax strategies
- Oversee preparation of individual, corporate, trust and other entity tax returns
- Tax structuring, modeling, and projections
- Consult with clients on business and tax-related issues
- Maintain current market knowledge of new laws, trends, issues, and best practices in the tax field
- Build relationships with clients based off of trust and ethics as a reliable business resource.

- Public Accounting Firm experience is required
- Current CPA or EA is strongly preferred
