job summary:

Our client, a growing CPA firm, is currently searching for a Tax Supervisor/Manager with 3+ years of public accounting experience responsible for individual and corporate tax reporting. A CPA license is required.

responsibilities:
  • Be responsible for the preparation and review of all personal, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns.
  • Offer a high level of support and training to all tax associates.
  • Manage a book of business while creating and building new client relationships through personal and professional networks.
  • Ability to analyze complex business and individual tax matters and to provide solutions and tax planning.
  • Demonstrate competence in general business skills and pursue mastery of appropriate technical and leadership skills to support team and client needs.
  • Successfully manage projects and train staff as needed
 
qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • A CPA license is required
  • Minimum 3+ years of personal, corporate, partnership, and trust tax reporting experience is required
  • Tech Savvy, MS Office, QuickBooks, and Drake tax software
  • Self-starter with the ability to multitask and complete assignments within deadline constraints
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Salary plus a Bonus, equity and Partnership Track
