job summary:

Territory Business Development Manager

A well-established company offering construction, tooling, and building supplies, has a key opportunity for a Territory Business Development Manager. This organization offers custom cut, packaged, and delivered building products to commercial and residential customers throughout the region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage assigned sales territory and develop strategies and sales channels
  • Identify key clients in territory and target decision makers within each organization
  • Develop relationships with businesses to seek new opportunities and expand business with existing accounts
  • Develop a client base to include Installers, Distributors, Architects, Engineering firms, and Constructions companies
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of products and services, industry trends, and competition.
  • Align with customer service to identify new opportunities in the market.
  • Present product scope and solutions
  • As a subject matter expert conduct product information sessions for new and existing clients
  • Specify the development and implementation of products for a vast range of products based on client requirements
  • Utilize CRM to process sales quotes, orders, and customer needs analysis. Document all service related issues.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience selling tooling and building products
  • Proven track record within an automated sales environment where accurate data entry and management of a CRM system was required.
  • Experience and success working within a revenue quota and commission structure.
  • General knowledge of millwork and building materials
