Tatum by Randstad is working with a Colorado based PE-backed Oil and Gas Upstream company currently looking for a Vice President of Finance. The role will report to the CFO and CEO. If you are looking for a fast paced start up, this is the role for you! This is a confidential search at this time due to the transaction pending with this company. The company is proactively looking for talent at the moment.

Comfortable building, maintaining and using corporate financial models

Assist the executive team with business planning, strategic alternative insights and daily/monthly business performance tracking

Ability to anticipate financial business issues with suggested solutions.

Facilitate needed updates positive relationship building to external financial entities such as private equity and banking business partners.

Prepare financial elements for quarterly board meetings.

Direct experience with oil and gas hedging is highly desired


10 years experience working for an Upstream Oil and Gas experience

BS in Finance or Economics

3 years working for smaller E & P companies would be preferred

MBA in Finance would be ideal

Experience with oil and gas hedging would be a plus

Company is working a hybrid schedule but would prefer someone in their downtown office 4-5 days a week while the company is being built up
