job summary:

The Vice President of Marketing will collaborate with all levels of the organization to develop and deliver compelling content and graphics for marketing campaigns, web sites, product collateral, events, and overall communications. The VP of Marketing will have a passion for creating brand awareness and marketing strategy. Additional responsibility will be to create and implement effective business plans that ensure a leading market position.

Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with sales channel, generate and drive a comprehensive annual growth strategy
  • Generate marketing communications, sales support resources, customer self-service information. to position brand competitively
  • Generate and drive strategy to create successful customer forums including website/portal, tradeshows, virtual events, and training seminars
  • Provide meaningful and impactful brand messaging and material, generating strength of image and equity
  • Partner with senior leadership team to create cradle to grave strategic roadmap to increase brand awareness
  • Create and update marketing collateral including corporate and product presentations, product brochures and fact sheets, and sales tools with input from product marketing and product management
  • Create and update digital content including web pages, banner advertisements, infographics, social media postings, and scripts for product podcasts
  • Create marketing business strategies to include corporate positioning, competitive pricing, competitive analysis, business insights, and market intelligence
  • Provide messaging framework to product marketing and management teams
  • Develop content for marketing campaigns including emails, banners, graphics, and landing pages
  • Collaborate with Channel Alliance VP and Sales to manage global channel strategies
  • Oversee marketing communications such as branding, public relations, advertising, white papers, trade shows, seminars, events, marketing collateral materials, and market research
  • Execute multiple marketing campaigns via social media, multi-wave campaigns, trade show promotions, and email campaigns

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, marketing, communication or related field. Advanced Degree is preferred.
  • Fifteen years of experience in overseeing marketing initiatives, product management,
  • Ten years of product marketing and product management experience
  • Experience designing effective sales enablement programs
  • Excellent written communication skills in both digital and traditional formats
  • Expert Excel skills and the ability to create modeling and long range planning
  • Proven track record of effectively collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams to produce well designed, innovative content
  • Profit & Loss, Budget, and Forecasting experience. Experience managing budgets and delivering Annual Operating Plan objectives
  • Experience managing a product line from concept to execution.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment, respond quickly to changing business needs/timelines and complete quality assignments on time
  • Ability to establish priorities and maintain multiple priorities and tasks at one time
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to consistently deliver projects on-time and on-budget
