job summary:

Vice President of Sales - Automotive Vertical, is an executive-level sales role responsible for developing and expanding business within the automotive and indistrial sectors in the U.S. and globally. This role will be focused on selling logistics solutions, including global freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, and other value added services. The ideal candidate will have several years experience targeting corporations within the automotive and industrial sectors. This position plays an important role in establishing long-term strategic relationships which typically go beyond the sale of a single point solution. This is a unique role with tremendous potential for the right candidate.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop the automotive strategy globally
  • Develop a sales platform of personal target accounts to generate business
  • Actively participate in global meetings concerning the Automotive Industry that help drive the knowledge and strategy of the Automotive Vertical
  • Identify top priorities on a global basis
  • Identify and develop relationships with key decision makers at all levels of the client's organization
  • Quantify potential growth
  • QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Excellent conceptual thinking skills - ability to formulate a creative solution to address customers' needs
  • Strong creative problem solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated leadership, people and process management skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and visual/presentation communication skills
  • Excellent relationship building skills - C level
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment -- must work well across multiple units across the company

Excellent Compensation including generous base, bonus, commission.
