Partner in the Chicago practice of Tatum whose 25-year career includes serving as the CFO, Controller, Executive Director, Senior Finance Manager and Integration Leader of healthcare and other organizations, domestic and international, for-profit and not-for profit.

Among his professional Tatum engagements 

•   Interim CFO for a $20 million for-profit, private equity held Behavioral Health organization.  Provided financial leadership for the organization that recently emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy.  Proactively developed cash flow forecasting tools to provide visibility and accountability.  Successfully developed and presented to the Board of Directors the annual forecast for the P&L and Balance Sheet.  Ensured revenue cycle maximized billings and collections through the development of key performance indicators. 

• Interim VP of Finance and Special Projects for a standalone 200 bed hospital. Served in this executive project management role for the C-suite assisting with labor productivity, assessing strategic vendor partnerships, evaluating service lines, creating KPIs and dashboards and assisting with managed care reviews.

• Interim Executive Director of Finance, for a $2.3 billion Health System.  Member of the Network and Community Executive Team and provided financial leadership to the clinical and operational teams.  Successfully oversaw and coordinated the annual operating plan process.  Developed and Chaired the Network Labor Council and Capital Committee.  Assessed the Network Service Lines and developed the appropriate financial reporting and analysis.  Led contract negotiations for various services, including hospitalists and physician call agreements.

• Interim Executive Director of Supply Chain for an academic Health System.  Developed and managed executive relationships for the supply chain operations of the Health System.  Led the procurement, value analysis, contracting, distribution and logistics functions for the organization.  Developed an organization structure to ensure quality and commitment to customer satisfaction.  Executive Champion for the IV Pump and Cath Lab Lean Six Sigma projects.

Flavio received his Finance Degree from DePaul University. Flavio also successfully completed the Kellogg Executive Business Marketing Strategy Program and was awarded a certificate.
